Blank Canvas is actually about a bottle of liquid chalk and a window – and what happens when you ask people to use them.
This blog post is dedicated to my new friend Mr Jackson James Wood who inspired me to start this blog and whose prose is the subject of this first blog.
Now we all know a bit of alcohol can often be the catalyst to creativity and so it was at a post smeetup [social media meet up] soiree at the Tweet House that several less than creative expressions were written by some other attendees but Mr Wood’s chose this opportunity to honour his favourite poet, T S Eliot.
This is a excerpt from the poem “The Love Song of J Alfred Prufrock”
“I should have been a pair of ragged claws
Scuttling across the floors of silent seas”
Thanks Jackson for such a great way to start Blank Canvas, look forward to your next contribution.
